My Thoughts:

“Hurry Up, We’re Dreaming” has a bit of a special place in my music memory. M83 was one of the first bands that I feel like I discovered completely on my own. This double disc album feels like cinematic and nostalgic dream. This album explores themes of Childhood, Dreams and Escapism. Despite the mainly electronic and manicured sound, M83 accomplish a surprisingly emotive and human approach to electronic music. This album is best enjoyed with headphones, preferably at night.
